Greetings to the taxpayers of Jefferson County.

You read it here in The Port Arthur News that our beloved Ford Park needs more money — this time for concession stands.

According to another local newspaper, Ford Park has cost our citizens $2 million for 15 years.

Are you getting your money’s worth? Private enterprise would have declared bankruptcy long ago, or maybe they could turn a profit if it is so popular.

I have attended numerous functions out there over the years, and did enjoy them, I might add. But I paid to attend, like everyone else.

What’s the answer? New management?
