KATHIE’S KORNER — Tell the Truth: It never changes

Truth Definitions: Sincerity in action, character and speech, actuality and Spiritual Reality (according to the True Bible)
Truth, evidently, has many meanings to many different people of various backgrounds. Unfortunately, lies (opposite of truth) have been reduced to colors, making them small or believable?
Little lies, White lies … come on folks, a lie is a lie. A Truth Serum (hypnotic) was even invented to force questionable people to tell the truth. Wow! Maybe we should go back to the premise of Pinocchio and noses growing longer as a body lies!
I was raised to always tell the truth and still have that honesty in my mind and bones. My husband, Mike and I taught that to our children as a moral offense.
3 John 1:4 says, “… I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the Truth.” (NIV) God and I both believe this.
The truth is not determined by popularity, friends, a show of hands, a glorified opinion, social acceptance, personal preference, scientific research or religious institutions. The truth never changes.
I always encourage people who are in physical or mental calamity to go Back To The Peace, which is Philippians 4: 4-8.
Or, if this is new for you, write it down and read it every day, a lot. This wonderful Word as you repeat reading it will go into your mind and gradually move down to your heart and give you such relief in your life as only the Word and His Presence can give you, amen.
It will tell you not to worry or be anxious, but pray, thanking God and His peace will guard your heart and mind, then He tells us what to think (ponder) instead of the problem, whatever is true, noble, lovely, just, admirable. You read it in your Bible and practice it all and the God of Peace will be with you. Wow, again.
So, always tell the truth because it never changes.
Come visit me at my online Rock Church, Southeast and Golden Triangle Church on the Rock. I’m there with my husband, Mike, on Sunday mornings at 10:30.
Please come up and say howdy or I will pray for you.
Have a blessed summer!
