FOOTBALL: Roberts announces third annual heart walk, camp

New England Patriots linebacker Elandon Roberts will host a heart walk and youth camp in Port Arthur for the third straight year.

The activities will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday, July 13, with the walk starting at Memorial High School’s practice field. A youth camp will follow at 10 a.m. at the field.

Roberts is a 2012 Memorial graduate.

The camp is for 250 youths in grades 1-8 and will be first come, first serve. The camp will feature expert instruction from experienced NFL players and former pros including CFL Hall of Famer and Port Arthur native Don Narcisse.
