Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers responded early Monday to an interstate wreck that left one driver injured.

Troopers said Tierra Carter, 25, of Beaumont was westbound on Interstate 10 near mile marker 856 around 5:45 a.m. when she collided with a disabled commercial motor vehicle that was partially in the roadway.

Carter was transported to St. Elizabeth hospital with minor injuries, Troopers said. The 18-wheeler was unoccupied at the time of the crash.
