What started as a three-way tie for second place in District 21-5A boys soccer became a slightly clearer picture Tuesday night.

Port Neches-Groves earned its second win over Nederland this season, 2-1, at home to take the season series and gain a game on the Bulldogs. Jason Lovejoy scored his 24th and 25th goals of the season to lead all of Southeast Texas in that category, and Ethan Vincent netted the lone goal for Nederland.
