Geraldine Solberg, age 87, of Port Arthur passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on Friday February 1, 2019.

Mrs. Solberg was preceded in death by her husband, Chris M. Solberg; her daughter, Peggy Ann Dolese Eichler; her brothers, Everett “Doc” Stewart, James Stewart and Douglas Stewart; her sisters, Patsy Davis, Oline Harris, Anita Black and Evelyn Stott.

Mrs. Solberg is survived by her son Gary Paul (Vicky) Dolese of Livingston; a brother Bill Stewart of Vidor; a sister Gay Nell (Jimmy) Folsom of Jasper. She is also survived by two granddaughters, Brandi Eichler Vasquez of Groves and Lauri Eichler (Terry) Alario of Baton Rouge, and four great grandchildren, Lillian LeBlanc, Ryne Vasquez, Devin Alario and Jules Alario.

A Gathering of Family and Friends to Celebrate the Life of Mrs. Solberg will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 5:00 – 7:00pm in the Chape3l of Grammier – Oberle Funeral Home.
