Mrs. Kaffey Lynn Jones, a native of Port Arthur, TX was born November 18, 1958 to Lacy Williams Sr. and Johnnie Bea Williams. Kaffey answered the master’s call on Friday November 9th, 2018 peacefully amongst family.  Kaffey was baptized and accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age at New Hope Baptist Church and in her later years attended Victory Christian Church.  She was a 1976 graduate of Lincoln High School.  She was also a member of the Senior Misses.  Kaffey was a loving devoted wife and mother working many years at Nederland Nursing Home and cared for her grandchildren until her earthly departure.

She is preceded in death by her parents Johnnie B. Williams and Lacy Williams, Sr., brothers Jimmie Williams and Lacy Williams, Jr.; nephew Kevin Williams and a niece, Mary Ella Jones.

Forever to cherish her memory her loving devoted husband David “Shorty” Jones; faithful daughters, Shalonda Joseph of Beaumont TX, Taniquia Ned (Anthony Sr.), and Shannon Porter both of Port Arthur, TX; sisters, Wanda Wallace and Bessie Hodge (Harvey) both of Port Arthur, TX and Jackie Vaughn of Irving TX; grandsons, Aaron Preston, David Preston, Anthony Ned Jr., Desmoine Porter Jr., Darrius Porter, and Denzel Porter; granddaughters, Brianna Preston, Kaylynn Preston, Aniqua Ned, and Anire’l Ned; great aunt, Erma Lee Smith of Port Arthur, TX; brothers-in-law, Wilfred Jones of Port Arthur, TX and Joseph Allen Jones of Irving, TX; special close friends, sister-in-law, Ella Batiste and Barbara Lavalis; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m.  Saturday, November 17th, 2018 at New Hope Baptist Church with visitation from 12pm until service time.  Burial will be Monday, November 19, 2018 at Houston National Cemetery.
