Port Arthur police said an 18^th Street man was shot in the leg outside his home by robbers who fled the scene.

In an issued statement, police said the victim, 46, was found lying in his driveway in the 1900 block around 10:34 p.m. Thursday.

Several witnesses were interviewed, police said. The victim’s assailants were described only as a group of black males.

He was taken to a local hospital and treated for his injuries.
