FOOTBALL: Tix for Foster-Memorial playoff going on sale Monday

Tickets for Memorial’s 5A Division I bi-district playoff will go on sale from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Nov. 16 at the Memorial Stadium athletic office, 2350 Jefferson Dr.
The Titans, who already have the No. 2 seed from District 9-5A Division I, will host Richmond Foster at 7 p.m. Nov. 16 at Memorial Stadium. Tickets are $5 each for adults and students pre-sale, and $8 at the gate.
Foster (6-4, 5-2 in 10-5A-I) secured the No. 3 seed from its district with a 21-20 win over Fort Bend Hightower on Thursday night.
Due to the football playoff, the boys basketball varsity game between reigning state champions Memorial (5A) and Silsbee (4A) has been moved to 2 p.m. Nov. 17. The junior varsity contest is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. that day.
