Mr. Darren Jacob Williams, Sr., formerly of Port Arthur died Saturday, October 20, 2018.  He was currently residing in Converse, Texas and was employed by Randolph Air Force Base, Universal City, Texas. Darren’s Church membership included Christ Temple New Life Ministries (Port Arthur, TX), Agape Christian Church (San Antonio, TX) and Community Bible Church (San Antonio, TX).

A visitation is scheduled from 6 p.m. Until 9 p.m. Sunday (10/28/2018) at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday (10/29/2018) at First Sixth Street Baptist Church with Rev. Kalan Gardner Sr. officiating.  Burial will follow in the Houston National Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.

Survivors include: Lajoi Leann Parker-Williams – spouse (Converse, TX), children – Darren Williams, Jr. and Deon Williams (Port Arthur, TX), Tre’Bien Jair Gilbert (Converse, TX), siblings – Brian Williams (Kesha) – Port Arthur TX, Melinda Jackson (Eric) – Cibolo TX, Melissa Jackson (James) Houston, TX.  Parents – Jacob Williams (deceased), Ethel Romar Hopkins (deceased), Harry Lee Hopkins (deceased).
