BASEBALL: PNG’s Simmons commits to UNM

Port Neches-Groves senior Jamison Simmons announced his oral commitment to playing baseball at New Mexico in 2020.
Simmons posted a 2-0 record with a 2.014 ERA for the Indians. He allowed 13 runs on 18 hits in 24 1/3 innings pitched, striking out 36. Simmons started five games.
