Mrs. Jimmie Jewel Harris, 91, of Groves, Texas passed away Friday, August 10, 2018 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas.

Jimmie was born May 24, 1927 in Forest Hill, Louisiana to James P. Stockman and Mamie Reeves Stockman.

Jimmie was a resident of Groves for 72 years and member of Abundant Life Church.  She had an open door policy to anyone to her home.

Jimmie retired from Servomation Food Service after 10 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Harris.

Survivors include her three daughters, Sherroll Davenport and spouse of Port Neches, Kay Jones and spouse of Avinger, Lisa Holton and spouse of Bridge City; son, Robert Dale Harris and spouse of Hemphill; sister, Naomi Burnett of Boyce, LA; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

A visitation for family and friends will begin at 12 noon, Monday, August 13, 2018 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Wayne Ozio and Reverend Kenneth DeHart officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
