Betty Lou Faulk, 88, of Nederland, Texas passed away Saturday, July 7, 2018.  Betty was born in Port Arthur, Texas on November 20, 1929 to the late, Oscar and Virginia Pellerin Faulk.  She was the owner of Allstate Insurance Agency in Nederland for 35 years.

Betty is survived by her best friend and companion, Jay Hebert of Nederland; her daughter, Debbie Young and her husband, Paul of Groves; her son, Darrell Faulk and his wife, Lynn of Nederland; her sister, Velva Rae Allison of Lake Charles, LA; her brothers, Daniel Benoit and his wife, Flo of Groves and Gerald Benoit and partner, Craig Broussard of Groves; 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 with a funeral service at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
