Public works director Taylor Shelton said a total of 16 townhomes have been proposed in what could be Meloreen Place subdivision by developer Ahmad Hendiani.

Hendiani has built other homes in the city.

The preliminary replat is a way to get the fundamental information and make sure it addresses all of the essential city requirements. This is just the first step in several in the process. Once the plat has been reviewed and approved, a final plat will be proposed, city manager Andre Wimer said.

Details on price range and style of townhomes is not yet available.
