Port Arthur Police are responding to a shooting they believe occurred at Avery Trace Apartment on FM 365 on Tuesday.

A private citizen took the victim, who had received a gunshot wound, to an urgent care facility in the area, PAPD Det. Mike Hebert said.

The incident happened shortly after 4 p.m.
