Joseph Archie Lavine, 96, of Port Arthur, Texas died Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Harbor Hospice. He was a resident of Port Arthur and gave 32 years of his life as a crane operator with Maritime ILA Local 1175.  Joseph also served in WWII with an honorable discharge from the Army.

He is survived by his daughter, L. Marie Kelley; six grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Greater Macedonia Baptist Church, 1224 Houston Avenue, Port Arthur, TX with visitation from 8 a.m. until service time.  Burial will follow in Houston National Cemetery.
