Agnes Jean Simon known as Jeannie or Mom was a Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, passed away May 24, 2018 at the age of 76 years.   She was born April 17, 1942 in St. Martinville, LA to Claude and Lillian Borel who have preceded her in death.  She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Lawrence Jerry Simon, daughters Terry Peltier (Tommy), Tammy Garrett (Glenn), Tina McCray, and her son Rene Simon (Val).   She is also survived by her sisters Claudia Warren (Larry) and Connie Meaux (Raymond, deceased) and her brother Wade Borel (Gail).    She will be fondly remembered by her 10 grandchildren, Jennifer, Matthew (Kristy), Joseph (Brittany), Sherri (Russ), Shelby, Nick (Stephanie), Haley (Jason), Tabitha, Jessica and Stephanie, and 18 great grandchildren Audrey, Sydney, JT, Lilly, Gracie, Ryan, Elizabeth, Cody, Kacy, Andrew, Cooper, Lucas, Chrislyn. Cadence, Jj, Kadence, Kaylee, and Christian along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins..  A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, June 3 at 2:00 pm at the Community Center at 5262 S Gulfway Dr., Sabine Pass TX 77655
