Chad Dungan

Chad Dungan, 41, of Nederland, died Friday, May 18, 2018. He was born on August 21, 1976, in Caribou, Maine, to Paula Sue McCullough Dungan and Adrian Lewis Dungan.

Chad was a member of Nederland Lodge #1368 A.F. & A.M. and also a member of IBEW Local #479.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Chad was a fast car enthusiast, especially mustangs. He was an Arkansas Razorback fan. Chad enjoyed music, especially live concerts. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, the best uncle, and a friend to everyone he met.

Survivors include his parents, Paula and Adrian Dungan, of Nederland; brother, Clint Dungan and his wife, Alisha, of Nederland; nieces, Lilliana and Genavieve; and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends. He will be especially missed by his faithful canine companion, Floyd.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Oscar and Thelma McCullough, and Buddy and Josie Dungan; uncles, Glen McCullough and Bryan Dungan.

A gathering of Mr. Dungan’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at Broussard’s, with his interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
