Sis. Sandra Edwards was proud daughter of the late Willie Tunwar and the late Mollie Ann Smith Tunwar born on July 25, 1951.  She was baptized at an early age and member of New St. John Missionary Baptist Church.  She was employed with Valero Refinery and retired in 2015. She united in holy matrimony to Richard Edwards Sr. on December 8, 1973.  Sandra transitioned on May 4, 2018 at Cornerstone Hospital Rehab.

Cherishing Sandra’s memories are her children Richard Edwards, Jr., and Danielle Edwards; her grandchildren Kyler Edwards, Tamia Edwards and Rianna Jackson; brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, a godchild and host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday, May 12, 2018 at New St. John Baptist Church in Port Arthur, Texas with visitation from 8:00 am until service time. Arrangements were entrusted to Gabriel Funeral Home and interment will be at Kinder Cemetery in Kinder, LA.
