Port Neches-Groves senior goalkeeper Libbie LeJeune and senior forward Preston Riggs were named second-team All-State by the Texas Association of Soccer Coaches.

TASCO released its lists of All-Region and All-State players for girls and boys from 5A Region III. LeJeune and Riggs were the only Jefferson County players to reach All-State status.

LeJeune played a big role in PNG’s 23 regulation and overtime shootouts on the season, helping the Indians reach the semifinals of the 5A Region III tournament last month. Riggs was named District 22-5A player of the year, finishing with 40 goals and 17 assists.
