Jefferson County deputies arrested a Louisiana man, charging him with trespassing at a Bevil Oaks residence and later with having a prohibited substance in a correctional facility.

The Sheriff’s office said in an issued statement that Karl Phillip Galland, 36, of LaCombe, Louisiana, had stopped at a home for sale in the 13000 block around 1 p.m. Wednesday while a realtor and contractor were at the property, then returned to the house after they left. There appeared to be items stacked inside the garage, near where the suspect was parked, authorities said.
