Joyce was born on July 9, 1944, and passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018.  Joyce was a resident of Port Arthur, Texas at the time of passing. A celebration of life will be Saturday, March 17, 2018, 11:00 am, at Living Word Community Church, 4737 10th Street, Port Arthur, Texas.

She is survived by her son, Nicklos Lorenzo Lewis, four granddaughters; Nikela, Nikeiko, Jasmine, Nevaeh, eight sisters; Gloria Balque, Jeanita McGill, Josephine Lewis, Donna Rhinehart, Amanda Jacquet, Jocelyn Kaufman, Cora Jacquet, Tammie Jacquet, Lula Roquemore; and two brothers, Albert and Timothy Jacquet.
