Port Arthur Police have identified a man found shot to death as Kevonn Jeffery Washington, 18, of Port Arthur.

Sgt. Scott Argo said police received the call of a man down behind Lakeview Palms Apartments, 5200 Gulfway Drive, some time before 8 a.m. Monday.

The victim died from multiple gunshot wounds.

CORRECTION: This marks the sixth homicide in the city, four of which happened in January.

One of the homicides was a manslaughter case.
