Reva J. Haynes Callihan

Ms. Reva J. Haynes Callihan, mother, grandmother, sister, auntie and friend to many transitioned from her labor to reward on February 20th, 2018.

Ms. Callihan was a resident of Port Arthur, Texas for over 40 years and was employed as an educator by the Windham School District of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for 17 years as well as the Port Arthur Independent School District until her retirement.

A celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Barnett Chapel Church of God In Christ at 11 a.m. with Pastor Leo Lane officiating.  Viewing will be 9 a.m. until service time.  Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Tandra R. Haynes (Boston, MA), Delvin D. Callihan (Kile) of Manassas, VA and Devan D. Callihan of Port Arthur, TX; three sisters, Youvone Haynes, Cynthia Haynes (Missouri City, TX) and Denise E. Haynes (Beaumont, TX); three brothers, Alford L. Haynes (Beaumont, TX), Stanley Haynes (Kountze, TX) and Rev. Eugene Haynes, Jr. (Marie) of Beaumont, TX; three rays of sunshine flooded her life, her grandsons, Jordan A., Devan Jr., and Jacob A. Callihan.  Reva also leaves behind a host of special friends and neighbors of over 40 years.
