Edgar C. Blount, Jr., 69, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Monday, February 12, 2018 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas.  A native of Detroit, MI, Edgar was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur, Texas.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time.  Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
