 Vidor police said Sunday they were investigating a weekend auto-pedestrian accident that left one man in critical condition.

Police said when they arrived at the accident site, IH-10 Eastbound Service Road and Courtland Street, at 9:40 p.m. Friday, they found the driver of the pick-up involved, who had called police, and the victim, a man who was lying in the roadway. Acadian Ambulance transported the victim to Christus St. Elizabeth.

The investigation was continuing Sunday, police said.
