Beaumont police were seeking two suspects Thursday afternoon in connection with an early morning robbery of a convenience store.

Police said the suspects, one armed with a rifle, entered the Express Mart, 1755 E. Cardinal, and demanded money. The suspects then fled; no one was injured.

One suspect was described as a black male, about 6 feet tall, wearing a camo hoodie and a black bandana. He carried the rifle.

The second male was also black, about 5-foot-10 and stocky. He had hazel eyes and was wearing a gray hoodie, black basketball shorts and black flip flops.

The investigation was continuing Thursday afternoon.
