LUMBERTON BEATS NEDERLAND FOR TITLE

WOODVILLE — Nederland took down Vidor in the quarterfinal round and the tournament host before falling to Lumberton in the championship match on Saturday.
Nederland beat Vidor 25-16 before needing three sets (25-16, 20-25, 15-7) to beat Woodville. Lumberton won the title 25-22, 25-12.
Abbey Montalvo of Nederland made the all-tournament team.
Nederland hosts Hardin-Jefferson on Tuesday.
