Lonnie M. Jenkins, 72 of Port Arthur, TX passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Medical Center of Southeast, TX.

Lonnie was born May 6, 1945 to her late parents, Curtis Ambrose Sr. and Lonnie Ambrose.  She graduated in 1963 from Charlton Pollard in Beaumont, TX.

She retired from Port Arthur Independent School District in 2010.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 9:00 AM, followed by funeral services at 11:00 AM at First Sixth Street Baptist Church with Rev. Kalan Gardner, Sr. officiating. Services entrusted to Hannah Funeral Home, Inc. 

Survivors are her daughter, Yolanda Gail; Granddaughter, Galynne Carson; son-n-law, Johnny Fisher; sister, Rosie Lee; brother-n-law, Ned Lee II; God child, Jayvonne Taylor and host of Nieces, nephews and friends.
