Heywood Jerome Freeman, Sr. (41) along with his children, Heywood Jr. (5) and Halynn Rose (4), gained their angel wings on July 21, 2017. Heywood, Sr. was born to Mr. Donald James Freeman (deceased), Sr. and Mrs. Neitha Mae Freeman on November 6, 1975 in Houston, TX. Heywood is a 1994 graduate of Kashmere High School. On March 13, 2010, he was united in holy matrimony to Roxane Lynn Gillam. To this union, two children were born, Heywood, Jr. and Halynn Rose. Heywood also has two older children, Demontre Thomas and Treasyre Freeman.

Our “pint size superhero”, Heywood (Junior), was born on November 5, 2011 in Houston, TX. Junior graduated Kindergarten from Cranbrook Academy on May 26, 2017. He was to attend Fallbrook Academy Preparatory School this fall.

Our beloved little “twinkle toes”, Halynn Rose, was born on October 10, 2012. She graduated Preschool at Cranbrook Academy. She was also a dancer at Twinkle Toes Dance Co.

Celebration of life for Mr. Heywood Freeman, Sr. and his children will be 12:00 pm this Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Greater Grace Outreach Church, 10800 Scott Street, Houston, TX. A viewing will be held at 9:00. Expressions will be at 11:00. The interment will be at Houston Memorial Gardens, 2426 Cullen Blvd in Pearland, TX following the services.
