Fox Sports Southwest announces high school marathon

A marathon of recent high school football classics to be televised on Fox Sports Southwest will culminate in live broadcasts Sept. 1.

Texas Football Days will celebrate the state’s passion for the sport, beginning with reruns of three 2014 state championship games at 8:30 p.m. Aug. 28 and continuing with fives games from 2011-13 on Aug. 29, two games each Aug. 30 and 31 and 6-hour block of games leading into live coverage of Shallowater vs. Idalou at 6 p.m. Sept. 1. That game will be followed by Lake Travis vs. Converse Judson at 8:30 p.m..

Both live games will include live look-ins at other games. No Southeast Texas teams will be featured in the reruns or live shots.
