Norman P. Campbell

Norman P. Campbell, 78, of Tyler County, passed way, Thursday, July 13, 2017. He was born on March 20, 1939, in Abbeville, Louisiana, to Myrtle M. Palambo Campbell and Otto Campbell.

Norman was a United States National Guard veteran. He retired after thirty-six years of employment as a maintenance technician for Port Neches Independent School District. Norman was a member of JC3 Jasper Cowboy Church.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-six years, Evelyn J. Campbell; son, Norman Scott Campbell and his wife, Rosie; daughters, Donna Jean Trahan and her husband, Mark; Teresa Ann Gossard and her husband, Kenneth; Juanita Marie Alcini and her husband, Raymond; and Bridgett Mary Hightower and her fiancé James Etheridge; brother, Louis Campbell and his wife, Christine; eighteen grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A gathering of Mr. Campbell’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 20, 2017, at Broussard’s, Nederland, with his entombment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
