Danny J. Clayton (Danny Moe) of Port Arthur passed away suddenly Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Christus St. Patrick Hospital in Lake Charles, Louisiana.  He was currently residing in Port Arthur, Texas where he was born and raised.  Danny graduated from Lincoln High School in 1981.  He attended Texas State Technical Institute in Waco, Texas where he completed his associates degree in Computer Maintenance Technology.  After graduation he lived in Clear Lake, Texas where he was employed at NASA working for several different contractors for many years.  A couple of years ago he moved back to Port Arthur and was currently working as an information Technology Contractor with Capital One Bank.

He is preceded in death by his father Joseph B. Clayton, and brothers, Sylvester Clayton and Charles Clayton.  He leaves to mourn his loving mother, Isabell Clayton; son, Malcolm Clayton of Clear Lake, TX; step-daughter, Jasmyne Watson of Houston, TX; brother, Michael Clayton of Lake Charles, LA; sister, Stephanie Clayton Nero of Missouri City, TX; nephews, Michael Clayton of Fort Worth, TX, James Clayton of Longview, TX, Don J. Nero, Jr., Carlin Thomas (also his Godson) of Houston, TX; one niece, Melanie Clayton Hill of Benton, AR; a dear friend, Alva Bledsoe of Houston, TX; his best friend, Micheal Jackson; also his NASA family, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 12 noon Friday, June 9, 2017 at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel with visitation from 10 a.m. until service time.  Arrangements under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
