1958 ~ 2017

Walter “Clyde” Norwood, 58, entered into eternal rest on Sunday May 7th at his home. He is survived by two brothers, Darryl W. Norwood and Michael C. Norwood, one sister, Prenell Norwood Simmons (Milton); four nieces, Chandice Norwood, Chelsea Brown, Kelsea Brown, and Toi Brown; one great niece Zion’ Nah Alpough, and four great nephews, Zavier and Zion Norwood, Javan Alpough, and Jericho Vallien; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, one special friend Lora Lewis and a wide circle of close friends.

Funeral Service is 11 a.m. Saturday May 20th 2017 at Rose of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church, 2148 Rev. Dr. Ransom Howard St. Port Arthur, TX 77640 with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time.  Burial service to follow at Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
