Dudley Richard, 88, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Lake Arthur Place in Port Arthur, Texas.

Dudley was born August 20, 1928 in Mamou, Louisiana to Nelson Richard and Edna Aymond Richard.  He was a resident of Port Arthur for sixty-five years and a retired Boilermaker at Arco Polymers.  He was a member of St. Therese Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church and a US Air Force Veteran.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Therese Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church with Reverend Rejimon George officiating.  Entombment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2017 with a Rosary to begin at 6:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches.

Dudley was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-one years, Peggy Deshotel Richard.

Surviving relatives include his three daughters, Debbie Davis and her husband Jimmy Don of Nederland, Texas; Beckie Hubbard of Alvin, Texas; Angela Prather of Port Arthur, Texas; sister, Shirley Duplechin and her husband Robley of Mamou, Louisiana; brother, James Richard and his wife Emma of Mamou, Louisiana; five grandchildren, Danyell Junot and her husband Josh, Jake Richard, Miranda Spitzenberger and her husband Kurt, Emily Hubbard, Jana Prather and Jacob; five great-grandchildren, Hunter, Conner, Kenzie, Edward, and Eli; and his faithful companion, Tipsy.
