Carolyn E. Heisner, 74, of Port Arthur, died Sunday, April 16, 2017. She was born on March 14, 1943, in Kountze, to Pauline Elizabeth Read Morgan and John D. Morgan.
Carolyn enjoyed her plants, trips to the casino, playing games, and drinking coffee with neighbors. She loved blowing bubbles with her great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters, Michele Ayala of Port Arthur, Rose Heisner Rodriguez and her husband, Henry, of Nederland, and Connie Davis and her husband, Rodney, of Bridge City; sons, John Heisner and his wife, Gena, of Jefferson City, Missouri, George Heisner, Jr. and fiancée Rachel Moore, of Nederland, and Christian Heisner of Silsbee; twenty grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brothers, Marvin Morgan and his wife, Virgie, of Silsbee and Jerry Morgan of Kountze; and sister, Doretha Crawford and her husband, Mert, of Fred.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John D. and Pauline Morgan; husband of thirty-two years, George Heisner, Sr.; and brother, James Morgan, Sr.
A gathering of Mrs. Heisner’s family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m., with her funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
