BEAUMONT — Port Arthur Memorial wasted little time to set the tone Monday in a 3-0 win over Ozen, staying alive in the playoff chase out of District 22-5A.

Ricardo Monreal took an assist from Marco de los Santos and scored 5 minutes into the match. Jesus Gonzalez shot a 30-yarder into the net with 13:46 left, taking an assist from Ivan Barragan, and the Titans were up 2-0 by halftime.

Freshman Manuel Lopez made it 3-0 when Lisandro Nunez assisted him with 13 minutes left.  The Titans outshot the Panthers 25-5.
