Joseph “Bob-Bo” Broussard Sr., 88, was born October 12, 1928. He was a lifetime resident of Port Arthur and an entrepreneur.

Known for his big heart, welcoming spirit and tell like it is persona, Joseph made many friends with many memories that will last a lifetime. His legacy of never-ending card games and importance of family will always be remembered.

On Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Cypress Glen Nursing and Rehab in Port Arthur, TX, Joseph Bob-Bo Broussard Sr.’s journey on earth ended. He is preceded in death by parents Edna and Paul Broussard, brother Paul Broussard Jr., and son Joe Bob Broussard.

To celebrate his life, he leaves behind, one son and four daughters, Joseph “Tupie” Broussard Jr., Patsy Broussard, Crashunda Bell, Jeanitha “Shanta” Bell, and Epiphany Broussard. He also leaves one brother, Dellie Paul Broussard, a special niece, Pam Broussard Graham, and 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandkids, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, 2 P.M. Hannah Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Thurman Bartie officiating; viewing 12noon. Interment will follow at Live Oak Memorial Park. Services entrusted to Hannah Funeral Home, Inc.
