Dalton Mitchell “Dalt-T 60, of Port Arthur, TX went home to be with the Lord on Thursday Feb. 09, 2017 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. God sent His angel to reclaim His son. Funeral Services will be February 18, 2017, at Eastern Star Baptist Church 548 15th Street, Port Arthur, Texas. 77640. Visitation will begin at 9AM until funeral at 11AM. Interment will be in Live Oak Memorial Park, Beaumont, TX. The repast will be at Niodra Media Hall 6551 West Port Arthur Rd. Dalton “Dalt-T” Mitchell was born May 22, 1956 to Agnes Cooper and Clarence Sr. He was a fisherman for Zapata Haynie in Cameron, La. for over 20 Years.

Dalton was preceded in death by his parents: Agnes Cooper & Clarence Mitchell Sr. His siblings Barbara Cooper, Wilmer Cooper, Clarence Mitchell Jr., & Vern Johnson. Dalton Mitchell leaves a legacy of love to his loving wife of nine years Rochelle “Roe” Haynes-Mitchell of Port Arthur Tx. 6 Beautiful Daughters…Danielle Mitchell-Davidson, Andrea Mitchell, N’ Stacia Locks, Daphney Peters-Labit (Josh) all of Abbeville, La. Tia Locks of Arizona & Freddrica Haynes (Cree Bo) of Port Arthur,Tx. 1 son Dalton Peters of Abbeville, La. 8 Sisters…Fern Forrest, Debra Campbell-Smith (Mike), Nettie Mitchell all of Abbeville, La. Maxine Chargois, Diane Mitchell, Linda Mitchell, Donna Augustus-Hollis all of Port Arthur, Tx & Janice Campbell (Willie) of Corpus Christi, Tx. 3 Brothers…Troy Williams (Aundrey) of Kinder, La. Noah Williams III of Kaplan, La. & Clarence Mitchell of Abbeville, La.  He also leaves to cherish his Aunt Maggie Mitchell of Abbeville, La. His uncles Percy Mitchell (Ethel) of Abbeville, La. Johnny Cooper of Port Arthur Tx. Bethel Captiville (Velma) of Baton Rouge, La.  22 Precious Grandchildren & 2 Great Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
