Henry Johnson, Jr., 102 of Port Arthur died Sunday, January 8, 2017. A native of St. Martinville, LA, he was a resident of Port Arthur for 73 years and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Henry retired from Texaco Oil Refinery with 40 years of service.

He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Johnson; two sons, Byron Keith Johnson and Lance Steven Johnson; three brothers Paul Johnson, Sr., Willie Johnson, Sr. and Cleveland Johnson; and one sister Lunette Sam.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving daughter Juanita Johnson of Port Arthur, TX; her mother Dorothy Johnson of Port Arthur; one sister-in-law Florence Johnson of Houston, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 21, 2017 at New Hope Baptist Church with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
