Dayna Trishell Dennis, 28, of Port Arthur, departed this life for a heavenly view on Wednesday, December 21, 2016. Dayna was a wonderful mother with a beautiful spirit. She was loved by all who knew her.

Dayna attended school in Port Arthur and was a graduate on Memorial High School Class of 2007. She was employed by Realtex Property Management where she loved her co-workers. “Bosslady”, as she was known by her friends, was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

Dayna was preceded in death by her brother Kendrick Trishawn Dennis, grandparents Earl and Lillian Dennis, Henry Williams, Gloria Shields, Sterling Shields and Patsy Shields.

Left with a multitude of memories are her beautiful daughters, De’Nyria, Rihanna, Rheianna and Da’Riyah McClain all of Port Arthur; her mother Yolonda Dankins (Willie); her father Kenneth Dennis (Diane) of Port Arthur; siblings Jason and Shakisha Shields, Jazzmine and Desmond Dennis, Kevin and Dondra Hall, Brandi Siggers (Arnell), Floyd and Kelsie McClenon, Julia Sion, Demetrious Jenkins, Willie Dankins III, Ronald Richmond, Jr. and her grandmother Elvira Phillips (Charles) of Houston, TX.

Dayna is also survived by a multitude of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins who all loved her dearly.

Homegoing services for Dayna will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Eastern Star Baptist Church, 548 15^th Street, Port Arthur, TX with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
