Jean Ballard Ellerbee, age 86, went to be with the Lord on Saturday December 3, 2016. She was born in Port Arthur, Texas on August 15, 1930 to Edna and James Ballard. She enjoyed gardening, camping and Church activities. Jean loved quilting, but most of all spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a very beautiful and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents and her grandson, Jared Jamail. Jean is survived by her husband of 68 years, Carl Ellerbee, her daughters, Sheryl Jamail and Shirley Cagle. Also by grandchildren Christopher Jamail and Madison Cagle, other relatives and many friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, on Tuesday evening December 6, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Services will be held in Sterling-White Funeral Home on Wednesday morning December 7, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Sterling-White Cemetery.
