Mary Eva Mays, 62 passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2016.
Mary is proceeded in death by her parents Roosevelt and Hazel Feazel, her son Andrew Reed, 3 sisters and 3 brothers. Mary graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in 1973, and attended Lamar Port Arthur and UNT Health Science Center in Fort Worth, TX. Mary was employed at Wee Care and was the First Lady at Historic Israel Chapel AME Church, where her husband serves as Pastor.
Funeral services will be Saturday, 1:00 p.m. Historic Israel Chapel AME Church. Rev. Ralph V. Martin Jr. officiating with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Interment will be at Live Oak Memorial Park. Services entrusted to Hannah Funeral Home, Inc.
Mary Mays is survived by her husband Rev. Theo Mays, daughter Andrea Scypion (Leonard), sons Willis “Cig”, Jeremiah, and Deyaunte Reed; 15 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, sister, Rosie Rougeau, and 4 brothers Roosevelt, Lonnie and James Feazel and Darius Juneau, and other relatives, church family and friends.
