BEAUMONT — Three Port Arthur Memorial players scored in double figures Friday night, helping the Titans beat West Brook 68-46 in the Fred Williams Classic at Ozen High.
This was the first regular-season meeting between Andre Boutte-coached West Brook and Memorial. Boutte was previously the athletic director for the Port Arthur ISD.
Thailan Wesley had 18 points, and Darian Chatman and Jaric Butler each threw in 10 for the Titans (4-0). Memorial led 33-13 at halftime.
Memorial returns to action this week in the Clear Creek tournament.
