Port Arthur Police arrested a burglary suspect around 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Police were called to the 1100 block of Neches Avenue where the victim gave officers a description of the suspect and direction the person ran to.

Police found the suspect and property reportedly stolen during the burglary, according to a press release from the Port Arthur Police Department.

The suspect, whose name has not been released, was charged with burglary of a habitation.
