Lamar announced the completion of the installation of its video board array inside the Montagne Center on Tuesday.

The Nevco set, including a four-sided video board and accompanying scoreboards, replace the arena’s original scoreboard system from 1984. The centerpiece video board, donated by Susan Conn McCurry, is an LED video display system which features more than 1.3 million pixels, can show live in-game video, instant replays and current statistics along with graphics, animations and messages from sponsors.

The video board array will make its public debut next Tuesday during the men’s basketball Red-White scrimmage, which tips off at 7 p.m. Admission is free.
