Two people suffered minor injuries following a shooting outside Avery Trace Apartments on Sunday.

Port Arthur Police say a black male fired several rounds into a crowd near the park lot at the complex shortly before 1 a.m. The two victims were treated and released from the Medical Center of Southeast Texas, according to a press release from PAPD.

Seven vehicles were also damaged by the gunfire. Officers searched the area for the suspect but did not find him.
