Rose Mary Green Allen gained her wings on Saturday, September 24, 2016. She was born in Lake Charles, LA and moved to Port Arthur at a young age. Rose acknowledged her love for God attending First Christian Faith. She loved life and her family.

Rose is preceded in death by the late Wilmore Green and Selena Perreaux; one sister, Rose Marie Floyd.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2016 at St. John Baptist Church, 801 Grannis Avenue, Port Arthur, TX with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time. Services entrusted to Gabriel Funeral Home.

She is survived by five boys and two girls, Gloria Allen Woods (Wilford), Fairrena Newton, Hebert Allen, Derrick Green (Carol), Willie Allen (Angela), Raymond Allen (Louise), Kenneth Allen (Roberta); 22 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins along with dear friends.
