LIVINGSTON — Abbey Montalvo and the Nederland Bulldogs stayed hot Tuesday through District 22-5A play.

The Bulldogs swept Livingston in three sets by a tune of 25-22, 25-23 and 25-14.

Montalvo led Nederland (5-1 in District 22-5A) with 37 assists to go with 11 digs, three aces and two blocks.

Darcie Jones added 24 digs, Hannah Smith had nine kills and two blocks, Amanda Longlet had two blocks and four kills and Peyton Parker finished with two blocks and 16 kills.

“The girls played lights out,” coach Kristin Lemoine said. “They were all working together, played with heart and played off their positives. We had big people step up in big rolls. I am very proud of the girls.”

Nederland travels to face Port Arthur Memorial at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

BEAUMONT — Kailey Oliver led a powerful Port Neches-Groves attack in a three-set sweep of Central.

Oliver finished with 19 service points, seven digs and four blocks as the Rock-A-Noos won 25-6, 25-12 and 25-14.

PNG (20-10, 6-0) got 16 service points, 10 digs and six kills from Libbie LeJeune.

Rachel Hammersmith had 15 assists, Baylee Priddy added 12 assists and seven digs, Cheyanne Orozco finished with 10 kills, Kaitlyn Gil had seven kills, Hannah Jones had six kills and Elizabeth Bolyard added four kills.

The Rock-A-Noos travel to face Livingston at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

PA MEMORIAL 3, VIDOR 1

At Port Arthur, Nayla Bazile totaled 15 kills and hit .500 in leading the Titans to a 25-8, 18-25, 26-24, 25-22 feat over the Pirates.

Byron’Neisha Bernard finished with five kills and Riyah Collins had three for Memorial (11-13-1, 3-3), which won its second straight match.

At Bob Hope, Buna beat the Eagles 26-24, 11-25, 26-24, 25-16. The Eagles will visit Kountze on Friday.
