Tonight, Port Arthur’s latest Olympian will try for the gold medal in the women’s high jump final in Rio de Janeiro. Two watch parties have been set up for McPherson: The first will be at Big Boi’s Crawfish Hole inside Central Mall and begin at 5:30 p.m. The other is at Buffalo Wild Wings, 8845 Memorial Blvd. Suite 200, starting at 6. The high jump finals begin at 6:30 and will air live on KJAC-12.2 (NBC) starting at 7 (live streaming at NBCOlympics.com).
